Transportation Between Airport and Downtown

The Doubletree Downtown (formerly the Red Lion) runs a free shuttle between the Portland International Airport and its hotels in town. It leaves the airport twice an hour.

Other ground transportation options are available. Taxis, shuttles, limousines and buses are available to move passengers between downtown and the airport. Five car rental agencies are located inside the terminal, while five more are within a mile of the airport. Tri-Met's bus number 12 carries passengers directly from PDX to downtown Portland in less than half an hour. Raz transportation ($8.50 each way) offers shuttle service to and from the airport with stops at several hotels and downtown business complexes.

Close-in parking at Portland International Airport is currently being expanded, which makes getting to shuttles, buses, rental cars, and taxis a little confusing. Before you fly to Portland, check the airport's Web site for up-to-date information:
