Student Travel Grants
A limited number of travel assistance grants will be available. These grants will be distributed after the conference in the form of reimbursements against actual travel, registration and accommodations expenses submitted by the student. The number and amount of the grants will depend on the number of qualified applications and the amount of sponsor funds HPDC will have available. Applications are due by May 1, 2011. Notification of the awards and their amounts will be made as much prior to the conference as possible. To qualify for a student travel assistance grant, a recipient must be a full-time student (graduate or undergraduate) registered at a U.S. university. There are no restrictions on the students status, whether the student is domestic or an international student. Priority will be given to graduate students or undergraduates presenting their work at the conference (with conference presentations having priority over workshop presentations), and then to graduate and undergraduate students who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference. To apply, please complete this form before May 1st.These student travel grants are sponsored by the National Science Foundation via grant CCF-1114379.
